The new TOSHIBA plastic Glow Starter has a strong resin encasement which makes it moisture-proof, provides perfect electrical insulation and which is heat-resistant.
And the appearance is a beautiful uniform white. The 2 dents on the top indicate the positions of the 2 base contractors for easy installation, even in total darkness.
The glow starter pre-heats the filaments automatically after the switch is turned on so the flourescent lamp lights immediately.
